Chairman: Mike Garrison
The Wisconsin Division Chairman is the primary liaison with the USFA national office. Additionally, the Division Chairman will:
- Organize an annual divisional meeting.
- Call for committees as needed.
- Seek to improve USFA membership throughout the division.
- Encourage the formation of new fencing clubs, leveraging divisional resources to support these start-ups.
- Encourage division competitions by ensuring that division resources are available for use.
Vice Chairman/Communications Director: Mike Garrison
The Vice Chairman/Communications Director is the manager of division communications. In this roll he will:
- Design, improve and maintain the division’s web site.
- Verify contact information with each division club, school and program.
- Assist the Chairman with any other responsibilities so assigned.
Division Secretary: Dan Torchia
The Division Secretary is tasked with all division paperwork, application forms, contracts and meeting minutes. In addition the Secretary will:
- Keep accurate minutes of the division annual meeting.
- Distribute these minutes to the other division officers within two weeks of the division meeting.
- Maintain a complete archive of all division paperwork, including meeting minutes, USFA applications and the like.
- Submit classification updates to the USFA national office within two weeks of each division competition.
Division Armourer: Dave Neevel
The Division Armourer is a proactive caretaker of Division equipment and supplies, and not merely a mechanic. Additionally, the Armourer will:
- Undergo training specific to his responsibilities.
- Maintain all division equipment in good working order.
- Inventory all division equipment and provide a detailed inventory catalog to the Division Chairman. This inventory must be updated whenever new equipment is purchased or old equipment is retired.
- Act as the primary division source for weapon and equipment advice. The Armourer will make recommendations regarding club equipment (scoring machines, strips…) and personal equipment (masks, jackets, shoes…).
- Teach apprentice Armourers.
Treasurer: Tony Gillham
The Treasurer ensures the Division’s financial health. Additionally, the Treasurer will:
- Coordinate with the USFA national office for proper Division funds dispersement.
- Maintain and reconcile the Division’s checking account.
- Provide a comprehensive quarterly financial report to the Division Chairman.
- Coordinate with the Chairman and Armourer for the purchase of new division equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and archive all receipts for division payments and expenditures.
